How PocketSize protects your family's information
PocketSize is built privacy-first. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data. Everything you add — your family's profiles and sizes — stays on your device and syncs only through your own private iCloud account. We never see it.
None. PocketSize has no servers that receive your information and no developer account or login. The details you enter never reach us.
We don't use analytics or tracking SDKs. Your usage stays private.
There's no PocketSize login. Syncing uses your own Apple ID / iCloud.
No ads, no ad identifiers, and nothing is sold or shared.
To do its job, PocketSize stores the information you choose to add, such as:
This information is stored locally on your device and, if you're signed into iCloud, mirrored to your private iCloud so it's available on your other devices. You stay in control: you can edit or delete any member or size at any time, and deleting removes it from your devices and your iCloud.
PocketSize uses Apple's CloudKit to sync your data through the private database of your own iCloud account. This means:
Adding a photo to a family member is optional. PocketSize uses Apple's system photo picker, which lets you choose a single image without granting the app access to your photo library. The image you pick is stored with that member's profile (on your device and your private iCloud) and nowhere else.
PocketSize is free. It includes an optional "tip jar" so you can support development if you'd like. Tips are handled entirely by Apple's In-App Purchase — Apple processes the payment and we never receive your card details or any personal payment information. Tipping unlocks nothing and is purely optional.
We do not track you. PocketSize contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies, and does not use the Advertising Identifier.
PocketSize lets parents keep sizes for their children. Any such information is entered by you and stays on your device and in your private iCloud — it is never sent to or collected by us. PocketSize is not directed at children for the purpose of collecting their data.
PocketSize integrates only with Apple's own services — iCloud/CloudKit for sync and StoreKit for optional tips. There are no other third-party services with access to your data.
Because we don't collect your personal data, there is no information held by us to access, correct, or delete. You have full control inside the app: edit or remove any member, size, photo, or note at any time, and uninstalling the app removes its local data from that device.
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review it periodically.
